Partners Programme
For those people not involved with NYR directly but who would like to be part of the day, we are offering a choice of activities. These will run from 1pm – 3pm, an organic packed lunch will be provided and mini coaches will take you to and from the attractions.
Option 1 – Take a trip to RAF Cosford, the museum houses 70 aircraft and is home to the Museum's War Planes, Missiles, Transport & Training and Research & Development collections.
The National Cold War Exhibition with its interactive kiosks and hotspots offers visitors the opportunity to see what life was like behind the Iron Curtain. www.rafmuseum.org.uk
Option 2 – Historic Ironbridge, marvel at the world's first cast-iron bridge.
Built by Abraham Darby III and now recognised as one of the great symbols of the Industrial Revolution, the remarkable structure still dominates the small town that bears its name.
Or sample some fine ales at the famous Tontine hotel overlooking the bridge followed by a traditional pork pie from the world-famous Eley’s Pie Shop. www.visitironbridge.co.uk
